Program activation problems

If you run PARTNER/ASPAN and you get a message such as: 'You need a primary HardLock key in order to run PARTNER/ASPAN for the first time', this means you are trying to run PARTNER/ASPAN with a secondary (additional) hardlock key before having activated it.

The secondary hardlock has a (A) printed in its label following the serial number.

You need to act as follows:

  • Unplug the secondary (additional) Hardlock key;
  • Insert the primary HardLock Key;
  • Run PARTNER/ASPAN;
  • Exit PARTNER/ASPAN;
  • Unplug the primary Hardlock key;
  • Insert the secondary (additional) HardLock Key;
  • Run PARTNER/ASPAN.

Before plugging or unplugging a hardlock key switch off the computer, to avoid damage to the key.

NOTE:
You can not have more than ONE PARTNER/ASPAN installed in the same computer if you are using a Secondary Key.
